Q: What is Cannabidiol?

A: Cannabidiol, is a cannabis compound that can provide many medical benefits. Cannabidiol does not provide a “high” - the euphoric or dysphoric feeling of associated with the THC compound. Our Cannabidiol is sourced from organic hemp, which only contains trace amounts of THC (0.3% THC or less).

Q: How does CBD work?

A: When you ingest Cannabidiol the compound is introduced to your Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

The ECS system is meant to receive and process Cannabinoids which can come from many sources. This system has receptors in the body and brain categorized in two groups CB1 and CB2.

CB1 receptors are for the most part concentrated in the brain and central nervous system. CB2 receptors are mostly located in the periphery of the body's organs and are most commonly found in the immune system.

Cannabidiol does not directly impact these receptors which is why you don’t get the high of THC. Instead it indirectly impacts these receptors in a positive way. Cannabidiol also assists with raising the body's organically produced Cannabinoids and essentially inhibits the body's enzymes that break down the Cannabinoids.

Q: How can I ingest Cannabidiol?

A: When wanting to use Cannabidiol infused products, there are a variety of different delivery methods to choose from. As research develops and more is known about how Cannabidiol interacts with the Endocannabinoid system, more methods of delivery are becoming available. We cater fit our products to the four main types of delivery methods which include inhalation, orally, sublingually, and topically. The specific effects that may occur from one delivery method may vary from one person to another, so it's important that we offer a range of products to accommodate everyone’s individual needs. Q: How long do the effect of infused products last? How long till I feel effects?

A: These are more complex questions to answer fully. The short answer is that the time of impact is different for everyone. Each individuals body functions differently when metabolizing substances. It's also dependent upon what ingestion method you choose to employ.

Q: What does it mean if my infused products change color?

A: Sometimes when products are exposed to heat, cold, or light there can be changes to the color of the formulation. Mainly heat will cause this through oxidization. This has no impact on efficacy, flavor, or use.

Q: What does the expiration date mean?

A: The expiration date is the end of the shelf life of a product. The product should be consumed by this date to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Q: How old do I have to be to use Cannabidiol infused products?

Q: Whats the difference between Cannabidiol and THC?

A: Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol are two different types of Cannabinoids found naturally within the cannabis plant. Each of these substances interact with the Cannabinoid receptors found within the body.

The difference is how they react in the body. Cannabidiol will not create the same “high” associated with THC found in cannabis.

Q: What are Cannabinoids?

A: Cannabinoids are lipid based molecules that occur in a variety of places including the human body (endocannabinoids) and the cannabis plant (phytocannabinoids). Cannabinoids interact with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and manifest in different anatomical functions. There are over 100 phytocannabinoids that occur in the cannabis plant, with Cannabidiol and THC being the most prevalent and commonly used.

Q: What are Terpenes?

A: Terpenes, or Terpenoids, are an organic compound that naturally occur in a variety of plants. Cannabis has over 100 different types of Rerpenes. They are aromatic in nature and materialize as a sticky resin in the glands of the plant. The same areas that create THC and Cannabidiol in fact!

Terpenes can also be found in everything from conifer trees to essential oils. We use premium essential oils in our products to give them a captivating scent and fantastic taste!
